Weather Shamanism Workshop Level 1 - A Spiritual Path of Personal Growth and Global Healing
April 14 -15, will be taught by Elaine
This introduction to Weather Shamanism - a form of spiritual ecology - is a call to those who care about where our world may be heading, and who sincerely wish to safeguard the viability of our planet. Weather shamanism is not about controlling the weather. It is about Power, but not "power-over". Shamans are healers, and our goal in this workshop is to heal our relationship with weather. Through journeying and ceremony, we work with the Spirits of Weather directly to find out what they can teach us, what they want from us, and how we can all work together to help the world return to a path of balance and well-being. Many of us feel a strong kinship with and love for the weather. If this relationship is consciously nurtured and developed in service to greater balance and harmony, then we can offer the help and healing that is needed in these uncertain and potent times. Weather Shamanism Workshop Level 2 - Weather in the Middle World
June 2 - 3, will be taught by Nan Moss and David Corbin
As one of the primal forces of creation and dis-creation in our world, the weather has always influenced our lives. As shamanic practitioners our role is to understand and work with all the powers of nature, including the weather. In Weather Shamanism Level II we focus on deepening our spiritual understanding of the Middle World and our relationship with the spirits of weather. We begin to explore the connection between spirit and form, and where we fit into that dance. For this we need to know more about ourselves, and our potential as "fully human beings." In Level II we approach weather shamanism with a high degree of awareness. This awareness, and the respect that it embodies, is essential for relating with the Middle World spirits and powers. >
